Becoming a Fashion Designer Without a Degree @ age 13
Nobody is too young to become a Fashion Designer or start your very own fashion line-
and Isabella Rose Taylor- proves to everyone that dreams can come true.
launching her very own fashion line at age 12.
Isabella, now a mere age of 13- has just won a contract with large department
store 'Nordstroms' in the United States!
She is also set to debut at New York Fashion week later this year!
Isabella has achieved what many designers only hope for at age 13!
This just goes to show- the fashion industry isn't prejudice- you can be successful at any age-
whether it be 12 years old or 40- When you have talent- you have talent!
Born in Austin, Texas, Taylor has always been drawn to art. Isabella started sketching fashion
designs and creating dream boards at age 8, and knew that this was the career path that she
wanted to take. Her parents sent her to her first sewing camp at around age 10.
"I did a trunk show at a couple boutiques and I sold out most of my stuff. So, I just put all of
my things online and started selling online," she said.
Suddenly her designs, which were already being showcased in Austin, got a global following.
Well-known designers like Charlotte Ronson began mentoring her and offers started rolling
in.
Nordstrom just last week ordered 13 pieces from her collection to put in stores across the
nation, making Taylor one of the youngest designers for a major retailer ever.
“It just started out as a really fun hobby and it grew into a business,” Taylor said.
When asked what she tells other young people about her achievements, she offered some
advice.
"I always talk about setting goals. Don't limit yourself, like, let your mind dream as big as it
can. And ask for help because a lot of people will give you such great advice and wisdom. And
I would not be where I am without that advice from all these people," she said."
Having a Fashion mentor can really help you get started as a designer- someone to help guide
you in the right direction, and give you the helpful tips to make you successful.
A great Fashion Design Ebook Course offers young designers- from age 10- valuable fashion
templates that they can download to help them design outfits, as well as useful tips about
getting started in the fashion industry. To download the ebook visit: Fashion-Design-Course-Click Here!

Perfekt Tension - 2014 Collection "Going Batty"
After months of contemplation in the Perfekt Tension Laboratory i found source of inspiration from the depths of madness, 2014 Collection will be called "Going Batty" channeling the emotions of self into garments to keep the sanity of everyday life.
If all goes well I will be showing in PDX and Boston August and September, will keep you posted. it has been many years of struggling to make this happen and almost lost myself into the abyss of a blank mind.
There is nothing worse than waking up in the morning to feel uninspired, and there is no greater fear for a creator than a blank mind or everything halted in a stand still.
Frozen, lifeless, then you find yourself in a quiet dead space. with nothing around you. when all turns to white walls you start to remember you are the creator. you are the one that makes things the way they are.
Find a way to breathe life into these non active elements. Awakening into a dance of life like the Sufi who reaches the light of Allah, or the Priest who reaches the Holy Ghost, The Buddha who reaches Nirvana; all these may feel like the same bliss of experiencing creation.
This Going Batty Line will take elements from expression, occultism, mythology, east and west fused to form the 5th race of fashion.

Summer Solstice Collection
My heart shattered into a thousand pieces when the thread broke that held the ties between fashion and mainstream. What have we woven into society that has confused the minds of the youth, to think that they are twins from separate mothers.
What happened to the times when fashion was not a uniform but a sense of expression of the self?
I reflect back through the looking glass sifting through each of my reflections to find the styles that
I thought too, may have been lost forever.
Then there I be amongst all other reflections that had looked through the same glass, and we then remembered when we once were individuals. and that we had style that was not cookie cutter fashion, but raw, cutting edge, & so inspirational.
It could be seen on the walls, in our clothes, and our hair accompanied by a dance or a name each of our character famous in its own light.
These times seem to have died long ago, the then all of these reflections of the looking glass reminded me that history repeats itself, and that time is coming.
We here at the Perfekt Tension labs are evolving rapidly to meet this shift in the Era of Fashion that is rising up out of the looking glass.
Witness the shift...

Owl Conspiracy
Pieces collide forming something out of nothing and when do we truly ever get a break?
as an artists lives a full time job as a "life" to try and make a living in a world of simplicity that has lost the urge of owning art.
Although, in our waking times we find that art is making a strong comeback, as the youth come to fill elder shoes. yet we are here to set the Perfekt Tension in motion as we strive not to follow into the fashion footsteps that they have laid before us.
We at the Perfekt Tension Laboratory are the hermetic fabric masons laying the foundation of new beginnings, A new Style that was thought to be "long Lost" but what can be lost that has not yet been discovered?
Sophisticated looks that intrigue the intellect, and bringing people together through the arts have always been a marvel to the seeker...
In our times through out the generations the Mystery has unfolded and now we seek the symbols on the streets and now through our clothing of street fashion cults.

1.43 Kava Tea and Sewing Session...
Today in the Perfekt Tension Laboratory:
821 hits!
in 13 days =)
thanks sew much for keeping in touch.
almost finished with this sweet silver brushed steel silk cape, very sleek look.
then finishing up a custom order that had been placed, and finally working on new jacket concepts.
everything is looking great so far...
sipping on 2 kava tea bags mixed with coffee...
has a dreamy effect on a sleep deped mind as...
I get lost in the sewing machines...transmissions.
and here comes another design passing by the mountain side,
screaming to itself, i never had seen this before!
starring at her own androgynous reflection...
in the obsidian mirror.
now then when shall the seeker find its style?
and the Gods spoke;"the search is over, you have found...

On Styles
Today in the Perfekt Tension Laboratory:
Pondering the thoughts of wtf is he/she wearing? that was the question nowadays we feel as if when looking around we say, where did he/she get that?
but the amount of impressive garb these days is minimum to none, and yet what do we seek elsewhere outside of ourselves.
well my friends we have good news from the emergence of underground designers, offering unique clothing that you will not find anywhere else.
Perfekt Tension - haute street wear is one of many secret fashion societies that offer edgy styles that are timeless yet current to trends year after year.
Currently as we bootstrap our way to the top, we also offer a discount if you mail or drop ship your own fabric to us,
paypal us here... perfekttension@gmail.com
Time fades into the future and trends do not seem to evolve but at there own pace but in the underground designs flow like a river through the vast ocean of imagination.
